So I rarely ever do watch old movies (old to me is anything before the 80s though the 80s is pushing it sometimes) because I’m such a young’in but I watched Harold and Maude today and I really, really enjoyed it. I admit I was a little confused in the beginning and I didn’t really like Harold but after the first half of the movie he became really likeable (thanks to Maude!).
Harold, I think that you may have been the poster child for today’s modern emo. Maybe some old-movie-watching emo kid saw you and liked your emo haircut and fascination with death (but without killing themselves and just for attention like you did). You’re still kind of awesome though. Anyways, on to Maude…what a darling. I died a little inside when I saw her tattoo… :’(
